LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LOCAL?

The Esports Health and Performance Institute provider network can help you find an esports-certified nutrition professional in your area!

1. Fill out a nutrition intake form

Tell me all about what you’re currently doing and how it’s influencing your gaming. It will help me better serve you during plan development.

2. Set up a 1:1 evaluation session

After filling out the nutrition intake form, I will review the details and send you a schedule request. Sign up for the time that works out best for you! Note: Due to time constraints, I am limited on the number of clients I can work with at a single time. I will get you in as quickly as possible!

3. Start your journey to peak performance

We meet during our scheduled time and you begin your journey towards better gaming! During this initial evaluation I help you understand the following and more:

  1. Where can your diet improve?
  2. What is causing nutrition problems? How do you navigate it?
  3. What are the exact first steps to take?
  4. What can you expect if you make the changes?

4. Follow-up with me to ensure you stick with your nutrition program

I follow up with you to make sure you are making progress and to answer any questions associated with your nutrition program. The follow-up duration varies based on how much you want to accomplish, but I highly recommend you stay in touch with me for at least 12 weeks. This will make sure your new practices have become habit. We want lasting results!

5. Help us help others

Share your story with others in the community to help them understand how they too can use nutrition to optimize their performance. If you are okay with us sharing your case, we will write a case study article for our community to learn how they might be able to use any recommendation within your story to put themselves on a better path to health and performance.

Hey friends,

After years of seeing Esports athletes lacking basic nutrition knowledge, it became obvious to me that they were not getting the proper attention they deserve. When I took a look around, I saw that my fellow nutrition professionals believed gamers either didn’t need or didn’t want nutrition information.

Let’s quash a couple misconceptions right here:

  • Your brain cells are still growing and replicating throughout the entire lifespan. Anyone who tells you differently hasn’t opened a basic biology textbook.
  • Nutrition practices can be used to directly enhance training adaptations, recovery, and performance in Esports.
  • Poor nutrition habits will catch up with anyone, regardless of age. It saddens me to see many professional Esports athletes retiring in their early 20s and citing poor nutrition habits as a prime reason (take a look at Uzi).

The saying ‘you are what you eat’ is literally true. Every single bit of you was created by some nutrients you ingested. And just like when you’re building anything else, the quality of the building blocks will determine the quality of the built product. Don’t input trash and expect an output of amazing.

Listen. I don’t blame anyone for being confused about nutrition. The field is littered with misinformation and BS. It’s even worse for gamers because the quality information that exists is incredibly sparse. The scientific community has only recently started to pay attention to Esports.

I realized I couldn’t sit on the sidelines any longer. I have been working to provide credible nutrition information specifically for the Esports community. My mission is to unlock the potential in as many Esports athletes as possible through the application of performance nutrition science. I’m here for you and I’m excited to do what I can to support you on your journey to becoming a better gamer.

How much does it cost?

See the pricing listed above! It is $250 for an evaluation and $150 for follow-ups. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you get your money back. No hassle or guilt. I want you to get results.

How do I know it’s for me?

If you’ve ever felt like your nutrition could be better, then this is for you. Even if you eat healthy, I guarantee you there are gamer-specific nutrition strategies you can implement to take your game to a whole new level. I have worked with gamers from all skill levels and with completely different nutrition backgrounds. We all start our nutrition journeys at different spots, and that’s OK. I’m here to meet you where you’re at.

Does what I eat REALLY impact my brain?

This is the BIGGEST misconception in the nutrition world. It harkens back to the dark ages where we thought cognitive processes were separate from the body. The brain is IN the body. It is built from what you eat. It is fueled by what you eat. And just like your muscles, it has unique nutritional requirements and preferences. Most gamers reference google and bodybuilders and instagram influencers for their nutrition information. Those people don’t care about peak cognitive performance. You do. Get a diet specific to your brain.

This is why it is important to treat the injury HOLISTICALLY – which is what ALL of the therapists at 1HP are capable of doing for you

How long does it take?

Everyone’s least favorite answer – it depends. This is because every case is different! What I can tell you is that you will likely notice a positive change in the first 2-3 weeks. However, it takes at least 10 weeks to build a new habit. For that reason, I encourage people to stay in touch with me for at least 12 weeks so that we can get results that last.

Is this just a meal plan?

Nope.

Meal plans work until they don’t. When you’re in a situation where you can’t have the exact meal, it starts to fall apart. Dietary changes can only work if they are sustainable and in agreement with your unique situation. If I tell you to eat tomatoes every day, but you hate them, how long will you follow that plan?

After the initial needs analysis, I like to provide a flexible structure that allows for you to build something that really works for YOU as a unique individual. But don’t worry, I’ll still provide you some sample menus to look at so you can get an idea on where to begin.

When can I get started?

Right away! I’d recommend you start as soon as possible – my schedule has recently opened a few slots, but that quickly fills.

Does my location matter?

Nope. I am able to provide telehealth to anyone around the world! 🙂
